Best Red Wine Sangria #drinks #cocktails

This formula is thought of as "the best" since it best copies what you may test if you somehow happened to visit Spain or Portugal. I don't know how valid it is, yet everybody appears to cherish it.

I'm charmed this does not end up being the dreadful sweet form of red wine sangria that I've had so often. There is sugar in the formula yet not a staggering sum. Chomp on the wine-drenched orange cuts after the sangria is no more. Whooo – eeeee! yum. This formula is a distinct guardian.

I want to make this formula to share between simply my better half and me. It calls for one container of red wine, and we don't have any issue drinking a jug of wine between us! Twofold or triple the formula to serve at a gathering.

This is the best sangria recipe using red wine, citrus, brandy and Triple Sec! You are going to love The Best Red Wine Sangria Recipe.

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 large oranges, rinsed well
  • 1 large lemon, rinsed well
  • 1/4 cup granulated white sugar (I like to use superfine sugar)
  • 1/4 cup Triple Sec
  • 1 750m. bottle inexpensive, fruity, medium-bodied red wine, chilled
  • drizzle of brandy (optional, but good!)
  • extra orange slices, for garnish (if desired)

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Slice one orange, and squeeze the juice out of the 2nd orange.  Slice the lemon.
  2. Add sliced orange and lemon and sugar to a large pitcher; mash gently with wooden spoon until the fruit releases some juice, but is not totally crushed, and sugar dissolves, about 1 minute. Stir in the orange juice, Triple Sec, and wine; refrigerate for at least 2, and up to 8 hours.
  3. Before serving, stir again and add a drizzle of brandy (if using). Serve immediately over ice cubes in individual glasses.  Or, if it's well-chilled, you may choose not to use ice at all.
